 Job Opening: Sr. Automation Engineer

 Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client requirements.

  • Conduct site surveys and detailed engineering studies.

  • Prepare engineering designs and technical proposals.

  • Develop system architecture.

  • Prepare “As-Built” drawings.

  • Design electrical systems in accordance with IEC standards, specifically for Oil & Gas applications.

  • Conduct field surveys and prepare corresponding reports and designs.

  • Conduct case studies and provide practical engineering solutions.

  • Provide engineering design services upon request.

  • Program PLCs/DCS, configure VFDs and smart devices, and set up industrial networking.

  • Design SCADA and HMI systems.

  • Manage installation and commissioning of systems.

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support.

  • Willingness to travel to remote locations for installation and commissioning tasks.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical industry, OEM, or with system integrators.

    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Automation, PLC programming, and Drive systems.

    • Experience with OEMs/System Integrators is an added advantage.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in English – both verbal and written.

    • Strong technical report writing skills.

    • Expertise in:

      • AutoCAD Electrical

      • EPlan

      • ETAP or similar software

      • Electrical calculations

      • MV & LV switchgear design

      • VFDs and Soft Starter

      • HMI and SCADA
      • Control panels, power panels, and MCC design

      • PLCs and digital controllers

      • IT and OT Programing languages

  • Product/Industry Exposure:

    • Experience working on projects with different OEM products and across various industries.

    • Experience with Siemens, ABB, Schneider, or Rockwell products is a plus.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.

    • Flexibility to travel and work in challenging environments.
